Nanette will write that one. Also, because the library will open after our newsletter comes out, we’ll write an advance about the opening and include a box listing all the numbers associated with the library: number of books, signed bricks, # of bricks still available, all the dollars associated with, size of library, etc. Deadline remains Aug. 1. Common Area Maintenance: Greg Clinton Lower Faxon Green – new plants & mulch are in. More plants will eventually be put in and Greg suggests maybe putting in some decorative boulders – the board will look into the cost etc. Planning and Zoning: Anita Theoharis 1490 Ocean Ave (gas station) – the developer was resubmitting new plans and elevations to the Planning Department and will get back to WPA. 730 Miramar – Anita reported that 730 Miramar has the potential to become a three unit building because there are two kitchens and the upper level has great potential for the wet bar to become a kitchen.  The upper level priviously had a stove and frig.  There are also separate entrances to the three levels.   Owners had permission for the stove and frig in the lower level because it was a daycare center.  When the daycare left, the lower level should no longer contain a kitchen   Anita will send realtor letter and speak with realtors.    Board approved a $1,000.00 expenditure to consult with counsul, if necessary. Asa will email realtor letter to Anita. OARC – Kate Sponsor-a-tree campaign raised $800 so far – the goal is $1,000. Community benefits district – owners on Ocean Avenue will have to contribute. We need someone to “adopt” the upper Miramar gates for graffiti monitoring and painting over any graffiti.
