Old Business: Barbagelata Real Estate Marketing: Paul Barbagelata left voice noting that he thinks the most important issue is the proposed HYPERLINK "http://www.westwoodparksf.com" www.westwoodparksf.com. Anita said she agreed and would discuss at our 11/20/2007 meeting. She noted that Mr. Barbagelata has been co-operative and wants to resolve this issue to everyone’s satisfaction. In addition to website, WPA’s concerns are: Sponsoring events such as garage sales that seem to be sponsored by Barbagelata and recommending vendors and discounts that seem to also be sponsored by WPA. Lower Faxon parking – Greg Neighbors want parking gone around Lwr Faxon green. Ken Pieper objects. Ken polled neighbors. 9 out of 10 wanted parking left and want traffic calming measures. Talks have started with DPT for area-wide traffic calming effort. DPT has approved removing parking around Lwr Faxon green. There needs to be a community meeting about this issue. Julie – there is no street cleaning on Lwr Faxon green Greg – suggests writing letter clarifying situation and containing a survey for neighbors around Lwr Faxon green. Will let DPT know we need more time. Greg will send letter. New Business: Halloween Contest – Anne Winners: 728 Faxon; 40 Valdez; 55 Valdez; 25 Valdez (Hall of Fame) Liability Insurance – Greg Old contact went to new company. Both companies competed over getting WPA as client and the result was a great reduction in the cost for us. Common Area Sprucing Up – Grant Does it make sense to spruce up some greens that have missing plants? Cars and car doors have destroyed some plants around greens. We will hold off on this issue until we know about the parking around the Lower Faxon green. Attorney Retainer – Anne Should we have an attorney on retainer? To send form letters about permit issues etc. Greg – we could contact Tim Emert to see what he thinks about it. Longer term we could afford it as a line item in the budget – “legal support” Next meeting: December 18 @ 45 Pizarro Anita moves to adjourn Julie seconds Meeting was adjourned at 9:00 p.m. Respectfully submitted, Asa Williams, Co-Secretary
